NEWS: Phoebe Hall drops highly anticipated EP ‘Runaway’

Hailing from the northern English town of York is Phoebe Hall, with her highly anticipated EP ”Runaway” which draws inspiration from a variety of aspiring like-minded musicians. Although Hall is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, she is not one to be defined by her sexuality. Known for her relatable ear-worm melodies and the ability to carefully craft a distinctive sound, “Runaway” holds a clear sound of impressive vocals, elegant clear sounding production and sharp songwriting.

Released through Fear Records, Runaway is a four-track EP that explores pop-RnB sounds you might expect to hear from Sody or Holly Humberstone – though her sound shouldn’t be compared with its ambitious twist. Kicking off the EP with the title and lead track “Runaway”, the listener is instantly exposed to Hall’s natural sounding yet powerful vocals – Hall writes, “We looked at a range of artists for inspiration on this EP and I curated a whole playlist which covered everything from beats I liked to general moods and feelings of songs. There was a lot of Holly Humberstone and Lorde playing during the process, and I think you can hear the influences of this edgy pop in the record.”

Runaway by Phoebe Hall is out now on all streaming platforms.
