Ace bonkers fusion band Squid have announced a brand new LP and single.
Out on legendary, pioneering electronic label Warp Records, O Monolith will be released on 9th June.
To launch the new album, they have released the first single from it, ‘Swing (In A Dream)’ and video treatment which you can watch below .
Following their debut LP Bright Green Field entering the charts at No.4, they haven’t deviated from the winning formula by keeping producer extraordinaire Dan Carey on the desk.
Drummer and lead vocalist Oli Judge says about the single. “This was inspired by a dream I had about a painting called The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. In my dream I was in the painting but it was flooded and everything was floating away.”
They also announced a tour of the UK for the Autumn.
