NEWS: Camera Obscura announce first UK Tour in a decade and signing to Merge Records

Glasgow’s Camera Obscura have announced a UK Tour for 2024, their first UK tour in over a decade. This will include a homecoming gig at Glasgow’s legendary Barrlowlands. They have also announced their signing to Merge Records, the North Carolina based indie who released lead vocalist Tracyanne Campbell’s 2018 album with Danny Coughlan, Tracyanne & Danny.

Speaking about the coming year, Campbell commented, ‘We’re excited to be working again with Merge Records. We are looking forward to sharing new music with our fans and to playing live in 2024.’

The tour dates are as follows

11           Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow

The band will also play on June 22  at  Foro Indie Rocks! in Mexico City.

Camera Obscura formed in Glasgow in 1996. Releasing five albums between 2001 and 2013,  
The band went on hiatus following the tragic passing of keyboard player Carey Lander in 2015. Camera Obscura reformed for Belle & Sebastian’s Boaty Weekender in 2019.
