Sprawlingly magnificent post rock instrumentalists Brontide release their debut album ‘Sans Souci’ on the 30th of May on Holy Roar Records. To celebrate they are giving away the track ‘Matador’ via their soundcloud, download it below. You can also watch the video for the track below too! Boy we spoil you!

Drawing upon the influence of Battles, Russian Circles and Don Caballero, Brontide are a riff-heavy, intelligent instrumental-rock band that possesses an almost limitless scope. Featuring members from I Was A Cub Scout, La Roux, Malpas and Brighton drama- punks Pictures – Brontide explore and experiment beyond the boundaries of instrumental music with explosive effects. With dreamy melodies cast adrift by frenetic, technical drumbeats and big guitar loops, it’s no wonder they have already gained a cult following.

After racking up Radio 1 airplay, a tour with Minus The Bear and shows with bands such as Don Caballero, Cut Off Their Hands, The XX, Rolo Tomassi and Pulled Apart By Horses. Brontide are set to release their debut album on Holy Roar records on 30th May 2011.

‘Sans Souci’ has been recorded as one continuous piece of music and it is this 51 minute piece that they will be playing on their headline tour in April as a preview of the record.
