Preaching From the Pews: Bella Spinks

bellaspinksMySpaceFaceBookSoundCloud

Bella Spinks‘ music is an ethereal, enchanting and sometimes intimidating foray into folk and acoustic music that calls to mind Tori Amos circa Little Earthquakes and Under the Pink, and a subdued Regina Spektor. Her unique selling point is currently in her aesthetics – her live set is often strewn with flowers – but at the tender age of 18 there’s plenty of room for development, and the whisperings of a superior talent loom bright over her future.

Others seem to agree: to date Spinks has supported Ellie Goulding, Foy Vance, Pete Lawrie, Three Blind Wolves, The Staves, Andrew Davie, Ian King and Melodica, Melody and Me on tour, and has played for infamous nu-folk promoters Communion in both London and her hometown, Brighton.

Her debut single “Words” is available to purchase digitally from here and will be available physically soon! Hear her song “Personal Demons” below.
