Track Of The Day #463: NO – Leave The Door Wide Open

Naming your band NO indicates a severe lack of imagination, don’t you think? Well I always like to adventure beyond my initial prejudices and I am truly thankful that I did on this occasion. Harking from LA, this lot are fronted by a talented Kiwi, Bradley Carter. His voice will invoke thoughts of Interpol or The National, with its baritone melancholy, yet the songs themselves cry out for just that and the debut album, ‘El Prado’, is a superb album that I implore you to indulge in. Here’s your opportunity to start that journey.
