NEWS: Björk announces new exhibition and one-off London date

Earlier this year, Icelandic producer and singer Björk had a retrospective of her videos, artwork and more displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  Having recently released a new live album of her 2015 LP Vulnicura, the icon has now announced a two-week exhibition at London’s Somerset House, as well as a one-off live date at the city’s Royal Albert Hall on 21st September.

Björk Digital is set to be a fortnight of immersive virtual reality in which visitors can connect with the art and visual works using VR technology.  The singer has recently experimented with the form, creating a 360° video for ‘Stonemilker’ and a VR clip for ‘Mouth Mantra.’  The exhibition will also feature never before seen works, her Black Lake film and a retrospective of her extensive video work throughout the year.

More information on the exhibition and ticket information can be found on the Somerset House website.

Tickets for Björk’s date at the Royal Albert Hall go on sale from 9am on Friday 22nd July.
