Music historian Richie Unterberger’s new book Fleetwood Mac: The Complete Illustrated History is set to be released on 15th September via Voyageur Press. The book digs deep into the band’s career, attempting to emphasise details that even the most hardened of fans will find intriguing. The book delves into the circumstances that led to the withdrawal of the band’s original guitarist in 1970, as well as the two romantic splits between John and Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham that also nearly broke up the group.
As well as going into detail about the band’s career and the personal lives behind the group, Unterberger’s book also contains a huge and wide variety of photos and images that help illustrate their journey. These images will no doubt help to set the book apart from other biographical works on Fleetwood Mac.
