Minnesotan singer-songwriter Haley Bonar recently released her album Impossible Dream and she brought some of her tracks, including ‘Kismet Kill’ and ‘Stupid Face,’ to the Old Granada Studios in Manchester. She was performing for Low Four, a super-HD live music platform based in the studios and while there decided to throw in a cover of The Crystals’ ‘And Then He Kissed Me’ for good measure. Bonar’s version of the classic track is pretty different to the original, injecting it with some 80s synth tones reminiscent of Joy Division. Watch her cover of the track below, or head to Low Four to see the whole session.
Bonar is also touring around the country again in March and April next year, culminating in a large show at The Dome in London on 6th April. Details below.
