NEWS: The Saw Doctors set for Moseley Folk 2023

After previously announcing Squeeze for Friday night, and Wilco for Sunday, Moseley Folk and Arts Festival has just revealed their Saturday night headliner and it is none other than Ireland’s legendary The Saw Doctors.

With a career that now stretches back 35 years, The Saw Doctors have rightly earned a reputation as a cracking live band and this will be their first appearance in Birmingham for 6 years.

Today’s second wave announcement also includes comedians Lou Sanders and Robin Ince, plus Canadian folk band, Wild Rivers, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band who will be Playing a wide repertoire of Indian traditional music, 17-piece shanty group Old Time Sailors, South London folk outfit, Tapir!, and street performers Circus Raj with further names to be announced soon.

John Fell, Moseley Folk and Arts Festival Manager, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing The Saw Doctors to the festival. We’ve been trying to get them over for 10 years, so we can’t wait to see them in September alongside fellow headliners Squeeze, Wilco, The Proclaimers, and more.”

Tickets are now available priced £145 (adult, weekend), £57 (adult, day), £65 (U18, weekend), £32 (U18, day) and £320 (family) – plus booking fees.
