PREVIEW: Green Man Festival 2023

In 10 days’ time, some 25,000 lucky people will be heading to the Glanusk Estate near the small town of Crickhowell which lies within the majestic Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Wales. We know this because all of the tickets for the 21st edition of the Green Man Festival sold out within hours of them going on sale last September, such is the popularity of this annual event. And is it any wonder when you look at the quality of the programme that Green Man has planned for this year’s festival?

With more than 1,000 artists appearing on Green Man’s 10 stages over the course of the four-day event, there is certainly plenty of first-class music, comedy, literature, film, visual and performing arts, and science events to keep the whole family royally entertained.

Concentrating on the music, this year’s headliners are SpiritualizedDevoSelf Esteem, and First Aid Kit who will be topping the Green Man bill on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights respectively.

A solid undercard features acts as musically diverse as The Comet Is ComingThe WalkmenAmyl & the SniffersSlowdiveGoatYoung FathersThe DelgadosBeth OrtonLankumHorace Andy, and many more superb talents besides.

Full information about Green Man 2023 can be found on the Festival website.
