Foals
Foals have earned their first ever prestigious Ivor Novello nomination for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for their single ‘Spanish Sahara’. The ceremony, the 56th Ivor Novello Awards, will be held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel on Thursday May 19th. Foals will be competing for the honour with Villagers (for ‘Becoming A Jackal’) and Everything Everything (‘MY KT, UR BF’).

‘Spanish Sahara’ is taken from the band’s Top 10 album ‘Total Life Forever’ which also earned a Mercury Prize nomination. Earlier this year, Foals were nominated for five NME Awards, winning Best Track for ‘Spanish Sahara’.

Foals will return to the studio for work on their third album after completing their current North American tour. They’re also confirmed for several European festival dates including Wireless and Latitude in the UK.
