NEWS: Bye Bye Bicycle reveal the wistful shimmer of new single ‘No Future’

Bye Bye Bicycle reveal their brand new single ‘No Future’ exclusively on GIITTV, listen below. Shimmering with a wistful regret and deliciously enveloping crescendos that ripple with a lovelorn quality before the sun sets over the horizon with strings and horns. The Swedish quartet return with this beguiling cut their first material in eight years, its lifted from the Specular EP, out on the 6th of November via Lazy Octopus Records. They say:

“No Future was written soon after the release of our most recent record. The time after that was strange and we didn’t have much hope for the future. But after a time the excitement about music, each other and the future came back and it felt natural to finish the song now that we’re coming back. If though the title is dark there’s a bright future coming!”

“The Gothenburg indie pop band Bye Bye Bicycle are back with their new EP Specular, their first release since 2012, following the release of the singles “Mirrors” and “A Messed Up Family” during the summer. Now signed to Stockholm based indie label Lazy Octopus Records (Holy Now, AOP, MANKIND etc), Bye Bye Bicycle is one of Sweden’s most beloved indie pop acts, after releasing a string of singles and two albums between 2009 and 2012 while touring around Europe before suddenly disappearing. Until now when they’re returning with their finest work to date in the shape of new EP Specular.”
