After unveiling a string of videos for songs taken from his latest album Mangy House, singer-songwriter Cass McCombs has unveiled his latest clip for ‘Laughter is the Best Medicine.’ It’s been directed by Andrew Costigan and is a slightly bizarre journey across the American wilderness. It’s not totally clear whether anything in the video is real. The old man at the beginning seems to go into a psychedelic trance early on and things and towards the end we’re returned to the image of his cat. There’s also random images and clips of seemingly unrelated incidents layered in small boxes over the top of the footage. Watch below.
McCombs and a full band will also be heading to London’s Scala on 7th November.
