NEWS: Frank Turner reveals details of new documentary film

Following the release of his latest album Positive Songs For Negative People, Frank Turner has announced details of an upcoming documentary film.  Get Better: A Film About Frank Turner has been directed by Ben Morse and follows a year in the life of Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls.

Turner says:  “I wanted to finish off touring this record, “Positive Songs For Negative People”, in style.  Last year we played the major cities in the UK, so this time we are going further afield.  I’m also very excited about Ben Morse’s film, “Get Better”.  The film, and the song, really sum up where I’m at as an artist right now.  It’s going to be fun; see you on the road.

The film is being distributed by STUDIOCANAL for a special, one-night-only event in Leicester Square on 13th December, which includes a live set from Turner and a Q&A.  The whole event will be broadcast live to cinemas across the country.  Watch the trailer for the documentary below.

The details coincide with the announcement of Turner’s new single ‘Get Better,’ which is set to be released officially on 12th December.  He is also heading out on a huge tour of the UK.  Details can be found on his official website.
